Phase 1
We are looking to develop 10 members per region to become AHCP Region Trainers, each Trainer will support and develop the growth of the Healthcare Cleaning Professional Development Programme.
The training aspects will be fully funded by the AHCP National Funds, venue and associated costs to be covered by Branches.
Each Branch can nominate up to 10 individuals to take part in a one day course to become an AHCP Regional Trainer.
Those applying to become AHCP regional trainers must be able to support sites within their region in the training of the “Quality Assurer” and “Learning Mentors” and to help and assist in the deliver the Professional Development Programme.
Trainers appointed must be able to demonstrate a commitment of 6 days as minimum each year.
Phase 2
This phase will acknowledge the success achieved in phase 1.
To this end those trainers who have demonstrated commitment to the programme and achieved positive outcomes will be offered the opportunity to undertake a fully accredited Training to Teach qualification at Level 3.
