National Forum

The 2018 Forum, Facing the Future, has come to a close and the ahcp would like to thank all of the delegates, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors who attended and made this year’s Forum a huge success.

The Forum was a very educational and inspiring event and ahcp would like to extend a big thank you to the Midlands Branch for hosting and helping to organise this wonderful event.

This was our first year bringing the Forum back in house and we had a record number of delegates and so far, wonderful feedback from all who attended.

We had a wonderful variety of speakers who covered some interesting topics and provided us with a wealth of knowledge and tools allowing us to develop and grow stronger within our roles and responsibilities.

Our fun filled ‘Night at the Races’ allowed all of our delegates to relax and network with our members while our Fabulous Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony celebrated our fantastic ahcp members as well as 70 years of the NHS.

We would like to get as much feedback as possible to ensure we can make our 2019 Forum an even bigger success. If you haven’t done so already, please take a few moments to complete our Delegate or Exhibitor Forum Survey.

“The Midlands Branch Forum Management Team was delighted to host the Associations first in-house Forum and pleased it was such a great success.
We had fantastic numbers for the Wednesday evening informal night.  It was great to see so many different hats and caps plus watching our energetic members compete in our “Space hopper” races.
Many hours were spent discussing relevant topics then finding the right presenters, and we would like to thank all of our guest speakers for their time and passing on such great knowledge to us all.  Hopefully Blind Dave inspired you to believe that the impossible is possible, and that Funky Hippo will remind you to do those 2 minutes of stretches every day.
We are so pleased that you all loved the venue and it was fitting with our chosen charity SmileforJoel. Suzy was amazing to stand there and tell us her tragic story, and how she now helps so many other people.  If you weren’t able to buy a raffle ticket on the evening  and would still like to make a donation please visit their website.
We are very much looking forward to seeing the official photos, which will bring back so many great memories and wish the next branch organising Forum 2019 all the very best – it’s worth all the hard work for the end result.”
