Healthcare cleaning: The professional way
Increased focus on tackling the issues of hospital associated infections and tight budgetary constraints have impacted heavily on the cleaning of healthcare establishments. Vileda Professional has been working closely with our Healthcare partners to develop a range of cleaning systems suited to tackling these new challenges.
UltraSpeed Microfibre cleaning system.
UltraSpeed replaces traditional Kentucky and socket mop systems and is proven to be 50% faster than Kentucky mopping with floors being back in use twice as fast. UltraSpeed is a modern, professional system that is easy to use and can be also be used on walls, skirting, staircases as well as safety flooring.
SWEP Microfibre cleaning system.
Swep is based upon the pre-preparation of microfibre mops, a clean mop or cloth is used per room or application to ensure the elimination of cross contamination which often occurs using traditional methods. The Swep system is currently in use in over 100 UK hospitals and is proven to significantly save time, energy, chemicals and water.
Thermal disinfection and daily use with hypochlorite
All the mops within the UltraSpeed and Swep systems conform to the NHS Guidelines HSG (95)18 for thermal disinfection. Additionally UltraSpeed mop pads carry a 100 wash guarantee and Swep mops carry a 1000 wash guarantee including daily use with hypochlorite.

Both of these floor cleaning systems can be used in conjunction with a range of durable and disposable microfilament microfibre cloths which have been independently proven to remove 99.99% of MRSA and C.Diff in one wipe.
