AHCP Members wanted for IC Solutions 24/7 product test

AHCP Bronze sponsor IC Solutions 24/7 is looking for six NHS sites to participate in a new product test for its SaniGuard room fogging canisters. AHCP members at the selected sites will be involved in operating the trial and providing feedback.

The product has already been tested for efficacy in the NHS Infection Control Research Laboratory in the Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham, so feedback should not focus on its functionality, but rather the product’s ease of use and cost effectiveness. Feedback will be predominantly verbal rather than in the form of a peer reviewed paper.

SaniGuard room fogging canisters are designed to reduce the cost of room fogging dramatically. The NHS currently spends around £14,000 plus the consumables in order to fog just one room. As SaniGuard canisters cost under £10 each, the potential savings for AHCP members are clear.
