Innovation Award Winner: GV Clematis

innovation-award-2011GV Clematis, GV Health's usage management and stock control IT system, was winner of the first ever AHCP (Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals) Innovation award at the 2011 AHCP annual conference. The award is further proof of the innovative way in which GV Clematis enables facilities managers in areas such as cleaning, laundry and catering to work smarter and save money at the same time.

The centre piece of the Innovation Award entry was the GV Clematis Piggy Bank, highlighting the money savings GV Clematis makes. During the AHCP exhibition GV Clematis unveiled its new wireless data collection tablet and delegates were able to view a demonstration on the GV Clematis stand as well as enter a competition to name the pig!

GV Clematis won the AHCP Innovation Award against opposition from many other industry leading companies. The award was presented by AHCP National Chair Denise Foster, Assisted by ETD Lead Member Delia Cannings and Donna Jones, AHCP Deputy National Chair and Head of Facilities at Rotherham Foundation Trust. Commenting on the award after the ceremony, Carl Harris said "It is a particular honour and mark of achievement to win the first ever Innovation Award given by the AHCP. The award is a vote of confidence in the innovative way GV Clematis helps facilities managers save money."
