BPI Healthcare's Visqueen antibacterial apron prevents exposure to harmful bacteria, and facilitates an effective infection control strategy within healthcare environments. The uniquely designed apron incorporates an antibacterial agent based on a combination of metal ions known for their strong antibacterial activity, helping to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination to staff and patients.

The additive used in the apron blocks the metabolism of the bacteria through the enzymatic reaction and is especially effective against: MRSA, C. difficile, Escherichia Coli, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Salmonella Typhimurium, Staphylococcus Aureus, Bacillus Subtilis, Candida Albicans, SaccharomycesCerevisiae, Cladosporium Cladodooriides, Aspergillus Niger.
