I have worked for the NHS for over 10 years and I am currently within the Patient Experience division at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

I am currently also the Welsh Branch Chair, of which, was re-instated in 2007.  The branch has sustained continual growth over the past 3 years which is testimonial to the current members who support the events and meetings which take place on a regular basis.

I work directly with domestic staff on a day to day basis and have been involved with the Associations recommendations to the Welsh Assembly Government, which in turn has resulted in implementation throughout Wales.

I am in close contact with Infection Control teams and work in partnership with clinical staff to ensure the healthcare environment is everyone’s responsibility.

Committed to the AHCP’s aims, I hope to continue to support the membership and push the Association forward as the ‘Voice of Choice’ in healthcare cleaning.
