I am delighted to have been asked to be the Deputy National Chair - Scotland for two terms.

This is an exciting time of growth for the AHCP which has come at exactly the right time with the changes and challenges we have seen economically and politically.

This is a time of rapid change for the Association and for the profession as a whole. Changes in technology and public sector budget reviews will result in a need for the AHCP to be responsive to the needs of our members and to support this changing environment.

Our biggest asset is our members and we can all contribute to the Associations agenda so I would ask every member to become active in the Association, to utilise the website, and to provide their views to the Exec Team and their Branch Council Reps.
