Mission Statement

Harnessing the strength of our members to provide excellence in professional healthcare cleaning

Introduction

For more than 30 years managers of cleaning and allied services within the public sector, but especially within the National Health Service, have had their networking needs met by the Hospital Domestic Administrators’ Association – latterly Association of Domestic Management (ADM)

In 2006 ADM’s Council of Management spent time reflecting on how best to meet the needs of today’s members as a result of which the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals has come into being.

Launched at ADM National Conference 2007 AHCP will continue to represent Managers in all these Public and Private Sector services:-

• Cleaning
• Domestic
• Hotel
• Support

including:- Laundry / Linen, Portering, Transport, Telecommunication......

and supporting Lecturers in all these subjects.

With well over 500 members – and growing daily – we include managers and supervisory staff in all these areas;
also members supporting these services in the supply and manufacturing worlds.
